Are your boots genuine uggs?

All our ugg boots are genuine Australian uggs that are made at our manufacturing facility in Melbourne, Australia from premium quality sheepskin.

We are not affiliated in any way with the Deckers Outdoor Corporation and their "Ugg Australia" brand. We do not sell ugg boots that are made in China. All ugg boots sold at our on-line store are made in Australia from 100% natural sheepskin.


Ugg Boots Care Instructions

Ugg boots should never be put in a washing machine or a dryer. Hand-wash your ugg boots in a warm water, using an approved wool detergent. You can use a soft brush for scrapping. To dry, place your uggs in the shade, away from heat or direct sunlight and allow drying out slowly to retain the soft, supple finish. Sheepskin footwear does shrink slightly after drying out, but will get back to normal after just a few wears. Once the boot is dry, lightly brush the cleaned area with a suede or nubuck brush. Brush in one direction only. If you follow these directions, your ugg boots will look fantastic for years to come.

When you see an item you like, click on "Buy Now" and continue shopping. When you're ready to complete your purchase, go to your shopping cart to confirm your items. After you've made any changes and updated the quantities as desired, click on "checkout" to finish.

You will receive an order confirmation number at the conclusion of your order process as well as confirmation email.

If you created an online account with a password, you may check the status of your order at any time simply by clicking on "sign in," signing in, then selecting "my orders".


International Orders

Please note that all international orders are charged in Australian dollars. The foreign currency amount shown on your credit card statement may vary slightly from approximate conversion provided on the site. The conversion rate is determined by your credit card provider.


Taxes & Customs Duties

All prices displayed on Chic Empire web site are inclusive of 10% goods and services tax (GST). International customers please note that a 10% GST will be subtracted at the checkout time for orders shipped to outside of Australia.

International orders are not subject to GST, but may incur an import duty. For information, please contact your local customs office. Duty is the responsibility of each individual customer.
